At the beginning of the month, we had the opportunity to tag around with Eric's parents on their New York trip. We have all been before, so we just hit a few of the main attractions.
We started off with a lovely boat ride around part of the island learning about different events throughout history and of course seeing Lady Liberty.
We rented bikes and crossed the Brooklyn Bridge. Note to self: do not attempt to ride across if there is an organized group walk for mental illnesses that day. Check local papers for calendars of events.
It was still lovely, even if we were among the crazies.We were able to meet up with my best friend Catherine, who recently moved to the city. She even watched Bos while we went to a show! She took us to the best Greek restaurants and was an amazing host! I'm so glad she lives so close!
